It’s a fantasy Soviet coin (or souvenir coin) from AliExpress. The coin is made of a brass alloy and has been plated with silver. At some point in the stretching, the coating cracked and I thought that nothing would work. But I continued to make the ring. 40 percent silver 60 percent copper, so basically you made a silver plated copper ring and a electrolyte cell so every time the ring comes in contact with water or sweat it will degrade the metal and corrode like a battery 😂

Ну по факту конечно да - монета портится. Но всё же я не считаю, что просто так портится. Монета превращается в кольцо, которое нравится заказчику или покупателю больше чем сама монета, к которой он был равнодушен.. Если монета редкая, ценная, дорогая, то делать из неё кольцо это конечно идиотизм (хотя и из таких я тоже делал по просьбе заказчиков). А если обычная, недорогая, то почему бы и нет..
